Trek to the heart of an ancient volcano!

Hike up, around and back down Kansai’s youngest, and extinct, volcano.

Difficulty Level:

Steep inclines in some areas. Overall easy hike for beginners and kids.

Hike time: about 1.5 hours

Hat, water bottle, walking shoes, and a lunch to enjoy at the summit!

Kannabekogen Rest Area

The Kannabekogen Rest Area is your meeting point towards adventure equipped with a hot spring, restaurant, and a bus stop right next to Mount Kannabe.
