Mayoke-san: Furuya's Resident Mascot

A lovable character created by Ushiko Design, Mayoke-san comes in a variety themes expressed by their color and the items hugged close to their chest.

Hot spring-themed designs are especially popular, including Mayoke-san holding a yu-oke (traditional Japanese bucket for bathing) as well as a pair of geta (Japanese sandals).

Mayoke-san comes holding other unique objects such as rice balls, hearts, clovers, and even Mount Fuji, guaranteeing that all visitors are sure to find their very own special Mayoke-san.

Straw Craft Jewelry: Mugi

Finely crafted in-house by Furuya’s owner, the jewelry label Mugi includes pieces such as earrings for pierced ears, clip-on earrings, and brooches.

Each piece is created through Straw Craft, a 300-year-old traditional artform with roots and history found only in Kinosaki Onsen.

Collectible Match Boxes

Designed by Takimachi Masahiro specifically for Furuya, collectible novelty match boxes representing each of Kinosaki Onsen’s Seven Mystic Hot Springs are available for purchase as stand-alone pieces or as a set of seven.

A complete set of match boxes is also available for purchase with artwork depicting Toyooka’s Oriental White Stork, Matsuba Crab, and other retro art in addition to all seven hot spring designs.
