Jizo-yu is a local favorite with many families from the neighborhood still preferring to use this retro style bathhouse to relax before turning in for the night.
The design of the building was inspired by a Japanese lantern, and the hexagonal windows are shaped like the volcanic rock formations found at Genbudo Park.
Next to the main bathing area is a smaller bath with lukewarm water for children.
