Kirifuri Waterfall is a waterfall located at the mountain valley of Shinjo, Amino Town along the Kumihama direction of National Route 178. The waterfall has a width of 4 meters, and height of 21 meters. The falling water hits against the bare rock surface, causing the water to spray into a mist. Carved on the slope of the fall is the Buddhist deity Accala. On the mountain where this waterfall is located, there used to be a castle of the Isshiki clan, and visitors today can see the ruins of a stone wall. The beauty of the waterfall is highly praised, and this location was designated by the city as a Cultural Property.
You can reach the mountain road entrance by car. From this entrance there is a 10 minute walk to the waterfall.
