A charming fishing village just north of Kinosaki Onsen, Takeno is part of the picturesque San'in Kaigan UNESCO Global Geopark.
Go kayaking with an experienced local guide!
Then snorkel alongside local sealife, and get up close to magnificent ancient geological formations created during the Sea of Japan's creation!
Snorkel and kayak in crystal clear waters at Takeno Beach, one of Japan's top 100 beaches, during the off season for swimming!
After changing, start the adventure off with some stretches and paddling practice. After practice, set sail!
Set sail on the open sea to the snorkeling area!
Your guide will show you the ins and outs of snorkeling while exploring the astounding views of the coast!
July 11-August: Aoihama Wanwan Beach
Tours conducted from July 11 to August will be at Aoihama Wanwan Beach, a hidden gem of a cove frequented by beachbum pups and their owners.
This wonderful hideaway is surrounded by lush greenery and dramatic rocky coasts.

・Snorkel masks and fins are provided for free. Shoes can be rented for 1,000JPY/pair. Hats can be rented for 500JPY each. Cash only.
・Parking at Takeno Children's Experience Village during July-August costs 2,000JPY/car. Cash only.
