After you arrive in Kinosaki, check in at Mikuniya (your lodging ryokan). Then, explore the town by strolling down the streets and visiting the back of the town. From there you can take the ropeway halfway up Mt. Daishi to enter Onsenji Temple, which holds important history about the onsens. Afterwards, take the ropeway up to the top of the mountain to see a view of the entire town. From there you can sip coffee while enjoying the view, or try your hand at throwing small discs (kawarake) at a target located just off the mountain.
Spend the night in your ryokan, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and delicious dinner. We recommend going out after dinner to wear a yukata, stroll through town, and go onsen-hopping.
