Envelope Yourself in the Kannabe Wilderness

Escape the city for the magical forests of Kannabe, a highland town south of Kinosaki Onsen.
Originally home to an active volcano (no worries, Kannabe Volcano has been inactive for 25,000 years!) and famous for its hardened magma hiking paths, Kannabe is the perfect daytime getaway for those up for an afternoon of hiking and relaxation.

Worry-Free Trekking!

Before setting off through the volcanic rock paths of Kannabe with an English-speaking guide, hikers will first receive supplies and a detailed explanation of the trekking route.

Secluded Waterfall Views

Venture down the viney, wooded path to Hattan Waterfall. With an emerald green drop of 24 meters, this is the perfect nature spot for a commemmorative photo.

A Respite for a Rustic Meal

As you make your way through the scenic forests of Kannabe, be sure to keep an eye out for your ideal lunchtime rest spot!
Set up your table and chairs at your chosen spot on the trekking route, and start cooking. The forest is your kitchen!

A Locally-Sourced Lunch

Part of your supplies includes local salmon, avocado, and bread: the makings for a delicious sandwich!
At your picnic site cut your salmon, slice up your avocado, melt your cheese, and dig in!
Simple yet tasty, seasoned trekkers and beginners alike will be sure to love a homemade sandwich after a leisurely walk through the Kannabe wilderness.

Sweets and Coffee

A delicious sandwich lunch isn't complete without drinks and dessert!
Roast some marshmallows and enjoy brewing some Tajima Coffee to finish off your forest lunch.
