Regarding Kinosaki Onsen’s simultaneous closure of all ryokan and public onsen restrictions

■All 7 public onsen in Kinosaki (to be closed from April 29th)

To prevent new coronavirus (COVID-19) infections, all public hot spring baths (onsen) in Kinosaki Onsen will be accessible only to Toyooka citizens from Monday, April 27th 2020 for the time being.

Guests coming from outside of Toyooka cannot use the public baths.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for your understanding.

Toyooka citizens who can use the baths are as follows:
・People who have a resident IC card and a resident onsen ticket
・People who have citizen IC card and a citizen ticket book
・People who purchase a citizen onsen ticket over the counter
・People who have already purchased an onsen ticket (note: we are not selling tickets at the onsen)
・People who have a caregiver / returnee onsen ticket
・People who have a health point system / onsen facility use ticket
・People who have a complimentary onsen ticket

■All 75 ryokan (closed from April 27th until May 31st*)

We would like to extend our deepest sympathies and condolences to all those who have passed away due to COVID-19, including their families and all those involved. We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to healthcare workers, the government, government agencies, and everyone else who is committed to preventing infection.

In response to the recent declaration of emergency, Hyogo Prefecture and Toyooka City have requested the suspension of businesses, and Kinosaki Onsen is prioritizing the social responsibility to prevent the spread of COVID-19, giving top priority to the safety of guests and employees. We have decided to close all the ryokan/inns in the Kinosaki Onsen Ryokan Association from April 27th to May 31st*.

*Select ryokan have decided on a reopening date later than May 31st. Please see here for a list of those ryokan and their planned reopening dates.

If this period changes due to a request from the government or municipality, we will inform you on the homepage of our website.
