In order to understand the situation caused by the spread of the new coronavirus (hereinafter referred to as COVID-19), we have compiled information on how the government and tourist facilities have responded to this for the use of tourists and businesses in each region as follows. ｜ Countermeasures in the Region regarding COVID-19
In Kinosaki Onsen, we place the highest priority on the health and safety of our guests, employees, and local residents.
In order to prevent the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), we have created guidelines for the entire hot spring town. As a result, we are raising awareness and are fully committed to implementing safety measures regarding infectious disease prevention at all facilities in the Kinosaki area, such as inns/ryokan, restaurants, public onsen, and souvenir shops.
These guidelines have been prepared under the supervision of experts. We also comply with global standards by referring to the guidelines of globally expanded hotel chains (Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott) and the American Hotel and Lodging Association (AHLA). In addition to these referred guidelines, Kinosaki Onsen original items were devised and added:
・Cleaning the yukata (traditional relaxation wear) and geta
・Checking the congestion in the public baths online
As the situation regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) changes daily, we will do our best to ensure that our guests can enjoy their trip safely. We plan to update these guidelines in the future as we check the current situation.

■ Covers the items that must be observed to maintain sanitary conditions in the facilities
Establishes disinfection/cleaning of places with high contact frequency, thorough ventilation, handling of garbage, and ensuring reasonable distancing.
■ Lists items related to all industries in the hot spring area, such as accommodation facilities, restaurants, and product stores
The listed industries are accommodation facilities, restaurants, product stores, hot spring facilities, commerce/businesses, amusement facilities, and sightseeing cultural facilities.
In particular, Kinosaki Onsen, which has a hot spring culture, has established thorough infection prevention measures for its hot spring facilities.
■ Publishing of information regarding infection prevention measures and conduct for tourists and employees
In addition to infection prevention measures for tourists and employees, it also talks about the actions to be taken for both tourists and employees when someone displays symptoms of / suspected of having COVID-19.
