During the winter months Kinosaki can see some snowfall from January through February, sometimes leaving the town covered in a white glistening blanket.

The town is covered in pure white snow as far as the eye can see. Snow usually falls in Kinosaki from January to February. The hot spring town is very beautiful at night when the lights of the town shine onto the blanket of snow creating a winter fantasy.
