Drive down south to Kannabe, a highland town known for its family-friendly snow parks, warm locals, and toasty hot springs.

Let the kids run wild at the kannabe highland hotel's on-site snow playground while parents sit back and take in the shimmery snowy scenery.

Soak the day away at Kannabe Onsen Yutorogi's Hot Spring

Indoor and outdoor baths await for a little getaway from the blustery cold.

Head over to the Takeno Children's Experience Village

Learn about the traditional method of making Takeno's local specialty, "Tanjo Salt," before making some of your own to take home!

The salt made in Takeno is used for seasoning, miso, ice creams, ohagi, puddings, cakes, and is also sold as a souvenir in hotels, Japanese inns, restaurants in the area, as well as in Osaka and Kobe.

Get a taste for some of the best beef in the world with a mouth-watering wagyu lunch at Okukinosaki Seaside Hotel's restaurant.

Fun fact: Takeno Beach is located in the Tajima area, where all Kobe Beef cattle are born and bred!
